Kayak Festival
The Ötztal Kayak Festival is the heart of the weekend. For four days, paddlers from across Europe gather in Oetz — to paddle, celebrate and connect. Beyond the races, there are demo boats, film screenings, workshops and live music.
The festival takes place in Oetz in the Ötztal valley, Tyrol. Camping is available directly at the festival grounds. For accommodation, we recommend the Ötztal Tourism portal. From Innsbruck, it's approximately 45 minutes by car.

Thursday
17 September
Opening of the Kayak Festival. Arrivals, campsite setup, first community gathering. Welcome party in the evening.
Friday
18 September
Boater X (Oetz Kayak Cross) — the open race. Demo boats from sponsors. Film screenings and live music in the evening.
Saturday
19 September
OETZ TROPHY — the main race (invite only). Award ceremony and evening programme.
Sunday
20 September
Free paddling, community runs on the Ötztaler Ache. Group farewell paddle and departures.
